We stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Minneapolis on the 14th floor. Dinner and drinks at Lurcat Cafe, it was fabulous and the food was so delicious.
Ricks work party is always fun and exciting. We did a casino night after dinner and you played to win tickets for prize drawings at the end of the night.
We were very lucky we won 4 prizes including a Go Pro camera, and a Kindle paperwhite. I am excited for next year already! :)
We went to a Finnish buffet at the church the next day, there was so much food your plate was piled high just trying a little of everything. My grandmother would have loved it.
Then we picked up the Grandchildren and drove to see the Canadian Pacific Holiday train, and had dinner, another very late night driving in very foggy conditions, but at least it was warm, so many people showed up.
The rest of the weekend was resting and relaxing. Listening to the rain now and going to dig up a project to stitch.
